In this episode of Beer Talk, I sit down with the wonderful Em Sauter, longtime friend, beer judge, illustrator, and the creative mind behind Pints and Panels. It’s a conversation I enjoyed immensely — not least because, somewhere along the way, I seem to receive my very first declaration of love in a podcast. That alone makes this episode one for the books. But beyond that unexpected highlight, we talk about Em’s fascinating journey of bringing together two great passions: drawing and beer. We explore how she went from cartoonist to one of the most recognizable visual educators in the beer world, and why illustration can sometimes explain beer better than a thousand technical words ever could.
